An integration connects Tawked to a platform you already use, so its events reach your customers without code of your own. Every integration runs on a Tawked application, like an API integration does: the same review, the same prepaid balance, the same logs in the console.

Platforms

Every application lists the platforms in the console under Integrations. A connected platform shows its state there and, for a store, opens its own place in the sidebar under Your store. A platform that is coming carries Tell me when it is here: press it and we tell you when it opens.

What every integration shares

  • Saudi mobile numbers only. Codes and messages reach Saudi mobiles (+9665…). A customer with another number is skipped, and the integration’s log says why.
  • Your application’s identity. A Verify SMS goes out under Tawked’s sender ID and names your reviewed application. A WhatsApp message comes from your own number, connected in the console.
  • One balance. What an integration sends is charged like an API call, from the account’s prepaid balance. Prices are on the pricing page.
  • One log. What an integration sends is in the application’s Verify → Verifications or Notifications → Messages, beside your API calls. A WhatsApp message an integration sends fires the same message.* webhooks as one your code sends.

Your own platform

If you run a platform and want your merchants on Tawked, there are two ways in: each merchant connects their own application with its keys, or you hold one partner account for all of them. Build your own integration compares the two.
